The trailer for Martin Scorsese's upcoming film, Shutter Island, is now online. In the film, two U.S. Marshalls (Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo) are sent to a federal institution for the criminally insane located in Boston's Outer Harbor to capture a violent female escapee (Emily Mortimer). Shutter Island also stars Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Max von Sydow, Jackie Earle Haley, and Patricia Clarkson. Shutter Island opens October 22nd.

Shutter Island looks great, and quite the departure for Scorsese.
Its being called a thriller but looks like it could fit nicely in the horror genre.
