The trailer for The Invention of Lying has been released. The film, co-written and co-directed by Ricky Gervais, stars Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe, Johan Hill, Louis C.K., Jason Bateman, and Tina Fey. In an alternate reality, lying does not exist. That is until Mark (Gervais) discovers the ability to lie, and uses it to gain fame and fortune. The Invention of Lying hits theaters September 25th.

This looks like it's going to be a great movie directing debut for Gervais. The concept is very interesting, and has a lot of room for some hilarious situations and social commentary.
And nice to see Jason Bateman and Tina Fey are in it, even if they have small roles.
Gervais was awesome in Extras and The Office.
Reminds me of Liar, Liar a little bit. Just with everyone telling the truth instead of one person.
