CINEMA REWIND

Opening this weekend in wide release are Disney & Pixar's Up and Drag Me to Hell, a return to horror for director Sam Raimi. Both films have received rave reviews from the critics, scoring over 90% each on Rottentomatoes.com. The Los Angeles Times had this to say about Drag Me to Hell: "With that fire in his belly, Raimi's Drag Me to Hell does everything we want a horror film to do: It is fearsomely scary, wickedly funny and diabolically gross."

And as usual, Pixar has another critically acclaimed animated film with Up. "Extending the patented Pixar mix of humor and heart, Up is the studio's most deeply emotional and affecting work," said Richard Corliss of Time magazine.
